Can anyone tell me what the blue wire in an amp is please?

also known as the remote wire usually used for electric arials :)

Cheers :) any advice if the main power leads too nig to bit in when screwed down?

i always rap the wire round the screw and screw it down if not got a connector.......the blue wire is only live when the sterio is switched on as apposed to the main live being on the whole time in prinsable it switches the amp on and off :thumbs:

if the wire is too thick split it in to 2 at the amp end to make a fork
