would it be ok to run a sub thats specified as having 300W RMS and 1000W peak (fli ff12) on an amp which is rated as 110W RMS and 1500W peak per channel. i would have thought that you could run it as the RMS max on the amp is 110 and with the gain set in a good position
some people say get a more powerful speaker than the amp can kick out
some say match the WATTS and RMS as near as you can
