Help needed fo a numpty,
OK My Corsa B runs poorly lots of flat spots when warm poor acceleration etc. When cold and I start it and pull off the drive I can put my foor down and the car's revs drop to zero then it idles badly and cuts out. I then restart it with a bit of gas and pull away and its ok for a bit. Sometimes at roundabouts it seems to take an age for my 'foot down' to be transferred into engine revs.
I have changed the MAFM already and reset the ECU by removing battery for a few hours. So the obvious has been done.
Opinions seem to vary on here for what the next step is. ICV, EGR, Cranshaft sensor, Coolant sensor. Which way to go? I guess clean ICV may be the next and cheapest step. Need a gasket to do the EGR and the spares shop didn't have one and sold me some gasket paper which is as thin as the advice they had given me!
Corsa is a 1.2 16v so X12E engine by the way. Some people have also suggested coil pack failure spares shop wanted £100+VAT for that baby!! I passed as it is on EBAY for around £40. Any cheap copies to avoid here?
So guys in the know place your votes.
1.ICV
2 EGR
3. Cranshaft Sensor
4 Coolant sensor
Or just do the lot!
Cheers

Re: Corsa B stalling and acceleration issue
Oh I should say that the MAFM was purchased from ebay but as a new part although it is a copy not a genuine part although I haven't tried the old unplug it and see if the revs rise when warm should i be trying that or just assume its working!
Oh and I havn't cleaned the throttle body yet either which could give a sign I guess.
