Just been reading this and a lot of good tips going a round. My insurance was £3500 when I first got insured, but hopefully bringing it down to £1300 at the end of this year. Been adding parents/grandparents just to bring it down to that amount.

Pervious Insurance £800ish for the year, 3rd Party fire and theft, 2 people listed.

I just turned 25 in Nov 9 2011,
Got insurance letter mid November.

Corsa B 1999 1.2 16v petrol - £540 Fully comp for the year. ( i have yet to agree to it, and want to check what it intails)

They way i have it is, my Partner (woman, age - 24) is the Main driver.
Im on as a 2nd Driver, but we both are able to build up our own "no claims bonus"
I do 95% of the driving as its my only way to get to work doing 300miles a week !

How do you both get no claims?

I dono, lol its with a broker, and the insurance is with AXA i think.
Its just before i used to drive under a Motobility insurance as a 2nd driver for at least 2 years, but i wasnt gaining any no claims.
so when i was put on as a 2nd driver i defentley remember asking if i was able to build up my own No Claims as 2nd driver and they said yes. (Lol they probably lied)

i dono im happy with them tho, looking forward to moving over to Fully Comp and seeing what perks come with it. I could do with Windscreen cover.
