all i have done pinty is knock the fillings from inside the cat, welded it back on so it's still present for m.o.t and it still passes emissions test somehow haha. erm, took middle box out, so the exhaust is straight through.
I've also got a sebring backbox which i have been told its a turbo backbox :S or what they use on turbos.
fuel pressure regulator and a deristricted airbox although i haven't drilled holes in it yet.
If i do drill holes into it where do i do it?
Haven't a clue what i'm running now but it needs setting up on rolling road, i've given plenty of people in "faster cars" red faces asking me what engine i've got haha. So only thing i have bought performance wise is backbox and f.p.r i found it made a big difference, well for a 1.2

depends on budget. as jamie said a performance exhaust is good and an induction kit but the cheapest way to go is to save weight. im sure you can find plenty of things in your car you can take out, maybe the spare wheel and so on if not get an air filter, halfords and wilco sell them for about £20+

dont seem like a lot of hard work for the gains that you had tbh lol, would be nice to put are cars together to see the difference lol i wouldnt even know where to begin with a F.P.R
might end up putting a new backbox at some time, got a universal one of a friend for free but got told its very loud lol, but aint got the time at the mo to make a bracket to hang it lol
i raced my friend in a 1.7 td corsa c and kicked his ass to be fair lol i dunno if its that much of a accomplishment as it is a diesel lol
if your looking straight at the engine bay you gotta drill the left side of the airbox (away from the engine), the part that seems like a seperate box attached to the airbox, but you gotta make sure you drill below the line, to make sure that the air isnt bypassing the air filter. really easy job to be honest and what i have read and believe to be true is that theres access to cold air from in the wheel arch so might be some power gains

Nothing worth doing is ever easy!

Re: BIGGER INDUCTION KIT OR UPGRADED PANEL FILTER?????
its fairly easy stuff to do, the only thing that puts me off is the fact its not made to have holes put in it. even the k&n panel filter in my car makes a difference and its only a 1.0 12v. add a performance exhaust to a 1.2 upawards and it'll be very noticable
