My MPG

Now then, worked out i am roughly getting about 35/36mpg out of my 1996 N reg 1.2 8v LS, anyone else out there getting a similar return and does this seem low?

ive got a 1.2 ls & im gettin roughly about 30 MPG so its probs about right, but ive noticed if u fill ur tank you get more mpg, i got about 200 miles to £25 but thats when i put £25 in at once

Yeah i managed to squeeze 220 miles from £30 at 106.99p like, propa rip petrol at the min though and ya cant consistently put the same amount in!

Thats not 2 bad - it all depends on the kind of driving you do, how high you keep your revs, the weight in your car etc

Also winter makes it go down a lot as well due to lot of cold starts and using your heater etc. The best i got mine 2 was about 42 but that was in summer and doing exactly 60mph for about 50 miles lol

Well by the sounds of things it aint as bad as i thought! Think it annoys me more when i drive my fiancee's Corsa C and that gets some crazy mpg like!

My Corsa Breeze 1.2 does on average 35-40mpg mate so sounds about right :D

mines doin 60 mpg with me caining it everywere

ATM mines only done 70 mile off £20 an its on top of the red :shock:

ive got a 1.2 8v corsa trip and put in about 20 per time and get about 180 out of it so i consider it not too bad though

I use Fuelly to log my data folks...

Theres alot of Data from end of Dec - Feb i need to log but its a great tool if you keep on top of it and do it right.

with a full fill of £50 i normaly do about 70% highway driving, 30mins to work, 30mins home per day. 300miles a week for my work run. this dosnt count small journeys from my work to parents which is less than 10min journey and its rare i go up for my lunch. I get just short of 400miles on £50 worth. I would think if i was to run from Full untill i was Dry and the car passed out i could just about make a full 400miles.

ha my 1997 1.2 8v i put £20 in and i get 80 miels from it but i have got a 4-2-1 manifold and ported head

i've got 1.6 16v and im lucky if i get 20mpg, i struggle to get more than 180miles to a tank
id be well chuffed with 35mpg lol
So low even the ants dont stand a chance.

haha yea i had the same with my 1.4 16v aswell they do like to drink fuel, but havent a clue what my 2.0 one is as not had a speedo working until now haha
