Hey guys,
I had a new exhaust fitted from Cat -> Back, and they've put the wrong fitting on to hold it at the back box.. (Garage has disapeared now... Typical) So when Im Idling, it knocks constantly and is driving me CRAZY!!! I don't have much time.. Work etc, so can anyone think of a quick temporary fix to stop thE knocking while I have time to get the right fittings? The rubber spacers are way too short.. So it's knocking on the underside of the car somewhere around the rear axel!
Thanks guys.
Mark

Knocking Exhaust
Mine is doing the same thing, but the Backbox hangers are resting on my rear bumper and they rattle like f**k and it's annoying me too, maybe they just didn't put it back together properly?

Yeah it's so damn annoying.. Klonks loudly over speed bumps too.. Lol... Wouldn't mind but I paid the p***k £400 for that and a bit of welding on the brake servo mount.. At least expect a half decent job but he hasn't even sealed the welding off.. Cow boy

Re: Knocking Exhaust
I had same problem with mine as my hanging rubbers had gone porous so changed them for powerflex ones which stopped it shaking and hitting things lol, I seen some one on here put a bit of rubber with some zip ties on whatever its hitting and that worked as a temp fix, depending on what its hitting like lol
Nothing worth doing is ever easy!
