found myself a diff deal for a LET engine, so doing a 330 mile round trip to shropshire to collect a engine tomorrow, bottom end rebuilt 2k ago, head is a coscast which was also rebuilt 200 miles ago roughtly, all timed up and all parts needed for my corsa. gonna do a few mods to it and give it some fresh sensors etc before it goes in.

i picked it up from CEMEX off of migweb, up in Shropshire, not far from you probably.
went up in a Corsa Combo Van, got the complete package, using my f20. gonna get it pumped in asap and get used to a turbo again then do some saving and get it phased 2.5 out.
paid a good price for it, spec as it was only not long ago rebuilt.

Bad day today, some how when moving my car forward to start getting some of the simple stuff out the bay the engine came forward and the actuator/or a rubber hose has scratched the bottom rear quarter, looks bad but it isnt that bad, i think give them a clean up they will show how bad they really are. gonna clean them up, compound them out. hopefully no fatal marking or i will jsut have to send it in for a full 1 side respray which i wont be happy about, but down to stupidy me.
started on the car after sorting it out, got only a few things out the way before getting to pissed off with what just happend, so only drained water, took out fan/rad, disconnected battery n took out tray, airbox too. just need to do the other parts then build up the let of the parts that aint on it then swap engines over. will need to get a welder out tho or take it somewhere for the downpipe to be modified/made.

So engine is finally ready to drop, ordered me some new water roosesport silicone coolant pipes, and a cool 82 degree thermostat,

peoples opinion, as my car is the arden blue, and i have a blue rocker cover i want the pipe work to stand out, intercooler pipework will be the chrome metal pipes with just silicone as joiners but all other pipes with be diff colour i was thinking red, but then im thinking possibly another colour, i got til monday to decide, HELP !!
