Piston rings

Post by scorpiotn1 »

im looking to buy a set of pistion rings,

The place im looking to buy has the following in stock...

3 packs in stock for the X12XE. each pack has .. 72.50MM Bore, 1.2MM Top Ring, 1.5MM 2nd Ring, 2.0MM Oil Controle Ring.
but like i said he only has 3 left in stock.

But, from the same shop he has ...

3 packs in stock fot the X10XE, each pack has .. 72.50MM Bore, 1.2MM Top Ring, 1.5MM 2nd Ring, 2.0MM Oil Controle Ring.

My question is... "If i order the 3 pack for the X12XE then 1 pack for the X10XE will they be the same and fit my 1.2 16v X12XE ??"

urmm duno i'd doubt it, have you tried giving autovaux.co.uk a ring? as they're a big dealer of genuine vauxhall spares, and its where jamie1991 on here got all his spares from for his 2.0 16v redtop.

Ive always avoided them thinking they would charge and arm and a leg for parts. might also be worth popping in just to rule it out as an option.
thanks for the advice.
