Hi guys
So for the 3rd time now in as many months ive snapped another clutch cable.
First cable went so i replaced it.
Second went and i noticed the clutch was heavy and the bite kept moving lower down also the pedal was juddering (if you know what i mean lol) then after a couple judders it snapped.
So 3 weeks ago i had a whole new clutch put in and another new cable, clutch was really light and the bite didnt move. Last night i was driving home and as i pulled into the drive it juddered i thought oh no not again...and BANG it went again!
What do you think could be the problem?
Thanks in advance

Re: Clutch cable snapped again!
It snaps at the pedal everytime :\
but just got told by my dads mate who fitted it, that he used after market cables so this time he's ordered a proper vauxhall one
wont be here til tuesday so im without a car til then
If it does snap again then its gotta be a pedal problem right?

Re: Clutch cable snapped again!
Right just spoke to the mechanic, apparently it is a pedal problem. Where the cable hooks onto the pedal theres a plastic hook which has weakened and allows the cable to twist....make any sense? lol I know i read something similar on other forums just now so as well as a genuine vauxhall cable I need to get a clutch pedal and hopefully she'll be mint again!
