MOT today and bad news, Failed !

Wheels where scrubbing anti roll bar on full lock, took it home and tracked my self and It's all good now but still rubs when off the floor which is how they test it so will need some different wheels to go on for the retest :/

Also failed on headlight bulbs and the fact that they weren't secured in at the bottom so standard lights back on :P

Not a good weekend so far :/

You got about 22hours left in that auction, you should contact the seller first, if he can ship it to you.
Or keep an eye on eBay, they come around once in a while, 'nabedeckel' is German for hub cap.

Right a few questions to you guys: is it just my car or does anybody else's touch on the exhaust slightly when going over rougher roads with just one person in the back? And is it also bottoming out? It's lowered 60mm but it sounds like the beam or something is hitting something when going along an uneven road or just gradual drops ?

Mine makes noises like that sometimes :p it's the exhaust hitting the rear axle I would have thought

That's what I think it is mate, but there's another one which isn't quite as loud that sounds like bottoming out just wondered if anyone had experienced it :)

why not get ur car up on a ramp and take a look :D
i did that with mine and found scrape marks on the chassis and the sump and a flat spot on the exhaust lol
and with people in the back i have no hope of getting onto drive ways or anything with a slight slope haha
lowered 60mm all round like you buddy

Right found the source of the banging noise and it seems to be the shock absorbers, I took my springs out and lifted the beam up until it would touch something, the shocks stop the beam moving any further up kind of a limit but Surly if they came with 40 mm springs there would be enough there to not bottom out at 60mm?

Any advice will be great !

How do you do that? It seems likes it's an internal stop inside the shock it's self ?
