starts then cut's out do i'm getting some where, need put fuel lines back the right way around, as i believe the return may be higher that the feeder, so that may not help, also i need to double check the plug order, then its they are wrong hopefully that is the problem and it will run :)

Hmm that sounds immobilizer ish to me you said u got a new loom and ecu? Is the ecu silver or black? If its silver the plugs on the top must be purple if there any other colour it's a coded ecu

Set the crank at top dead centre with the timing mark on either crank or cam and look it the rotor arm it will just be making contact with number 1 plug then from there the order is 1 3 4 2 number 1 being at the belt side of the engine there should be a little notch on the cam cover and the dizzy if it's not on the dizzy rotate it 180 it may be upside down

Its got a 1.4 sport pump off (pricer's) on it, so that should do the job right, it starts fine now, takes about a turn but so did the 1.2
