Experienced advice needed :D

Post by Jack 94 »

Hi all I have a 1.0 envoy I've heard that cone air filters draw hot engine air being less dense less power etc, also they ruin the MAF over time would a panel filter and de-restricting airbox be beneficial only being a 1.0 ? Cheeeeers

It would be a waste of your fuel economy unless you just want the noise I wouldn't bother a panel filter may help a little but it won't be noticeable a lot of people think the air boxes are restricted but the extra boxes/pipes are just resonator boxes they reduce the induction noise of the engine not restrict it
If its not bodged then its not "propper"

with the money you would spend on making the sewing machine sew faster i would be buying a bigger engine its the cheapest big power stepup you can do
