Yerr I might have to do the same to my manifold, as I hate the noise of road scrape lol

should do mate, im well happy with mine now, was worth every penny, no scrapes so far! ive also got a problem with the driveshaft keep popping on the box a little, its the longer shaft, any ideas on how to make it stay in box? its a new cv on it with new circlip

what shafts have you used? you could put the washer on the end of the shaft on the other side of the hub
If its not bodged then its not "propper"

using conversion shafts with 2L inners and outers mate! so what you mean is to like put a washer or 2 on the outer joint then put it into the hub? so washer is on the otherside of the hub?

Yeah like that, have you spaced the gearbox mount at the back or left it?
If its not bodged then its not "propper"

They can do it so it sometimes I only ever had issues with shaft popping when I just used standard hubs and a spaced gearbox but never had it the other way round

orr do what iv done to my short shaft, and dont put the shaft circlip in the inner cv joint that allows more float for the shaft then. liam did the same to his x20xev corsa to.

Be carefully with no circlip on it can nock end of shaft off and if it comes too far it might come far enough to dump some box oil

no not the CV joint the drive shaft shaft into the cv joint.

no the shaft wont come out, you think its just the thickness of a washer that it moves,
