cheers guys, think am going to keep now! had a mess around yesterday and found an air restriction that was pretty bad! ill put some photos on later to explain but basically something was blocking as much air going into throttle

well yesterday i cut my ecotec adaptor plate as i found it was restricting airflow into the engine
Image
this explains what was happening, basically it was sticking up too much reducing the ecotec pipe inside to about half its diameter, so ment less airflow to throttle, so i just cut it down so it gets more airflow now and took for a drive and made a massive difference tbh, the engine now feels more alive throughout revs and more responsive to throttle!
Image
and also did took this pipe out airbox, dont know if it would have caused any restriction or not thou

yeah it feels much better now, low down feels same but from 3k upwards picks up some much better whereas before the revs used to be a little slugish! almost feels like putting the powerbox on the 1.4 haha! and yeahh im going to go on dyno again soon, maybe another 3 months give time to put more miles on it too then ill dyno her again :)

brought some carpet today and the fat foamy underlay thing too, tokk me about 3 hours to get it out from scrappy, talk about effort back seats out, front seats out, steering wheel off, remove all the dash, remove all wiring behind dash then remove pipes for heater matrix and then remove the heater mechanism and matrix, then finally got it out and went for a good few beers after haha! also just brought a digi dash :)
