Hello i have a corsa b 1997 1.0 3 cyl sometimes i start the car it starts n engine management light stays on if i turn the car off n restart 5 times outta ten it will go off i have notice the earth strap on the starter motor the big that cums out big bit the bolts on seems to get warm n dosent look in greatest condition i am goin to replace that would thia bring light on.n.off at different times ( if started n lights off it stays off) if on stays on
Cash is pretty tight so i have replaced the map sensor lambda sensor yet light goes off here.n there.n not stuck on the car heats up very fast also to just under 100 and fan then.takes it bk down once ran for half hour engine warms atarts to be.noiays any ideads

Idle fine startin seens take lil bit time but maybe cus its the age of the car im thinkin.now maybe egr valve or idle vale wud these bring eml on either ??? there is no difference in.power at all wen my corsa is idling its fine wen engine turned off engine.seems take to long to act die n batery light flickers as engine is shuttin down

wen car is started id revs then settles this is where either light will go.off n cum.bk on once settled to.idle.

hooe some cud help

How can you tell that it's over fueling on idle? But yea try the idle control valve and air leaks I presume,
