Hi, all. Thanks again for all your help with my previous issues. This website has been amazing. Anyways, new problem now!. Yesterday my car was running like crap, engine light on and kangarooing. Now, it had to have a new lambda for the MOT. A friend of mine plugged it into one of these scanners, and a fault appeared for the MAF, can't remember the exact number though!. Went ahead and bought a new MAF on ebay which arrived this morning, fitted it and thought all was well. Until I got about 3 miles down the road, and it kangaroo'd like hell. Just about got home. Am I right in thinking maybe the fault code for the MAF needs clearing?
Sorry for rambling.. lol

Re: MAF Sensor?
You don't need to clear the fault code, only the fault condition. If you are still having MAF like problems, check the cam cover breather hose for blockage and clean or blank the EGR valve.
I took a chance on a non genuine MAF from eBay recently and it worked well for about 3 days. Since then, my preferrence is to use a genuine Bosch MAF new or used. I cleaned my 'malfunctioning' Bosch MAF thoroughly with carb cleaner and blowed it dry gently with compressed air and it works perfectly now.
