drivers seat wont recline !

ok ive got the sport interior in my corsa and the drivers seat doesnt recline forward or back so a cant adjust it, its leaning back which isnt great for driving obviously, and it doesnt life forward to let people in the back either, does anyone know what i can do to fix this, the adjuster on one side isnt there either, is this a MOT failure ? need help please, thanks

As long as the seat slides on the runners it will pass a mot. Do u mean it don't have the round thing you turn on to adjust it ? Is the bar poking out where it should be ?

ok thank god, yea exactly that ! wee bar just pokes out, if you have any ideas on how i could get it to adjust would be great, leans back for far

Mine was missing when I got
My new seats I just used a pair of pliers to turn it. Just don't put any pressure on the back of the seat when ur doing it or it's hard to turn.

a tried it, didnt work, ok now i have a problem with the passenger seat !! it leans to one side and feels wobbly the part you lean against, i took pictures, the first picture is the drivers side ...

thats the drivers side, u will see the difference with the bracket bit

that bracket isnt sitting under that cog bit, how do i get that in place ?

Which side of the seat did u try ?

the part thats sticking out, the bar, drivers nearest door

Wrong side mate the adjuster is the side in the middle of the car.

ive turned that, a think the seats are in the wrong side, the recliner bits are on the inside ? when i turn the adjuster it doesnt turn its like its at full lock ?
