How Low Do I Wanna Go ??

Hi Guys An Girls

Got A 1.4 8v and just put a set of alloys on running on 195/45/15's

how low you think i could go with out it looking "Chavvy"

Aha are they vauxhall wheels or aftermarket?

ET is the offset, most vauxhall wheels are ET 49 which are the best for when lowering as you get no scrubbing issues

I got 195/45/R15's and Im lowered 60mm
But i used to have 195/50/R15's and now I've got the 45 sidewall i want it lower
It just doesn't look right to me
Too much space between tyre and arch for me.

they are aftermarket wheels got them off a corsa the seem too be far from the arches is the written on the wheel ???

I'd say 60mm is about right. If you think it would cause any problems (e.g. Speed Bumps, Car Parks) then 40mm would be fine. But from what I've heard 60mm isn't too much of a problem.

any more than 60mm and the exhaust knocks on the rear beam, ive had mine low.

it isnt chavvy just so many problems, been through alot of bottom ball joints
im on ET 49 195 45 15 though, but with 10mm spacers as im on coilovers

i dunno how too up load pics hahah stupid i know lol an yer my town Crewe has a bad way of roads lol lots of speed humps an pot holes lol so don't wanna lower it too much lol

aha yeah, i have alot of speedbumps around, used to crawl over them. yeah well 60mm looks good, like i say i had a problem with the exhaust knocking on the rear beam too.

usually says on the inside of the wheel.
if there on the car they can be far out the corsa spec.
have a look online if you know the name of the wheels

well i gonna paint the calipers soon so will check when i do that not got the weather atm hahaha typical British weather lol
