Help with fixings and boot

Post by dandadan »

I own a 95 sri and I have stripped it all back to do the welding and give her a full respray but when removing the bumpers and arches the nuts/bolts/screws where all corroded so I want new. Down side is Vauxhall want a fortune for them so before i go to them I was wondering if anyone else had got them from anywhere else? the ones I mainly want are the ones for the arches (flat plate with a screw attached with a nut to fit the other side)...any help appreciated.

Also my boot floor and rear arches are a little rotten so i want to cut them out and fabricate new ones...but I was thinking of just putting a flat boot floor in and doing away with the wheel well. Does anyone know if this would be ok for the MOT etc? I am thinking of putting the spare wheel bracket/frame from a 106 underneath so I still have my spare wheel handy...

Cheers
