modifications

Post by adammat »

hey guys atm i'm running a corsa b with a 1.4 16v lump in it. so far i've remapped it put an air filter on it, lowered it and got a cat back exhaust on its way (i would de-cat it but mot's due soon so might do that in the near future) and i was just wondering what other mods i can do to be able to get a bit more power out of it?? any suggestions would be great :) thanks

I guess you could make it lighter if you didnt mind not having any back seats :P

you could get a cold air feed in there too give it a bit more of grunt also on ebay there are manifold kits that increase the flow within the exhaust system which gains more throttle response plus the only way too get more easy way of power is goin down the chipping route but tbh with my corsa the 1.4 8v i'm just goin for details cause with the roads conditions ya can't really get too speed

yeah i would take out my seats but i often have people in the back haa i suppose i could tell the to get the bus :P and if i was to go for the manifold would that be getting rid of the cat also?? the only reason i ask is because my mot's due soon and cba with swapping it back and forth haa well i know a guy who's done corsa's before and thats who i got my remap done by. is there anything else i could do to the inlet side of things to squeeze a bit more out of her?
