Brake disc removal!

Post by Paul666 »

Righto i have had different answers from people everywhere lol. I cant get my discs off as the caliper carier bolts are rounded but i have been told by some ppl that if i remove caliper slider bolts and take caliper off then i will get the room to get discs off without taking whole carier off! Anyone actually done this?

hello there! I know that my post here is too late and I do apologize for that. I'm interested at the topic here. Any updates here? Have you already remove your brake disc? I also need help with this. Instead of going to the mechanic or repair shop, I want to do it all by my self to save money. I hope you guys can help me. Thanks!

Theirs two bolts that hold the main carrier to the hub, if you slacken them both and remove them both (will be tight!) then theirs one small screw that holds the disc onto the hub, remove this and the disc pops off.
