Corsa Boot Lock

Hello, my friend has a 96 1.2 corsa no central locking. To cut a long story short a thief tried breaking into his boot and ruined the barrel. Now the key will not turn inside it rendering it useless. He is able to open it from the inside but cannot from the outside. So before i go ordering parts for him, does he just need a barrel and new key or the whole mechanism including barrel and key?

orr couldnt you just pop to a scrappy and fetch one off there? will save alot of hassle and money should only cost like a fiver if that.
