Please help rear seat not securing properly.MOT thu:(
Got MOT thu afternoon and got major problem. My rear seat bracket was broke the plastic casing was all damaged so went to scrappy today got replacement fitted it only to find out its actually the bit inside the seat thats wrecked and in turn my middle seat belt does not retract:..( i noticed when pushing the release on the top of rear seat on the good side there is like a metel pin that goes in and out to secure it in the corrosponding holes in the bracket. But on the side its damaged that metel pin is just loose and not doing anything. Is there anyway to fix this without buying a whole new rear seat or just someway to get belt working properly for MOT. Massive thanks in advance

Managed to fix it missus werent too stoked to find me in living room with seat haha. Just took seat out to get more space to work on it may as well only takes two mins to do, carefully prised the upholstry from the back of seat which allowed access to mechanism then prised the plastic housing that holds metel pin. What had happened was the little circlip that goes round lip of securing pin had come off, soo put it back together and put upholstry back on and hay presto no new bits to buy and only torx bit and screwdriver needed. To think i was gionna spend 40 quid on backseat:))))
