ok basic list of things that can cause irratic idling:
Intake or Vaccume system leak
Ignition System
EVAP Canister purge valve
Poor engine compression
Idle Control Valve
Throttle Possistion Sensor
Intake Air Sensor
MAF Sensor
MAP Sensor
Fuel Pressure Regulator
Injectors
Crank Sensor
Faulty Wiring
since you tried to replace the MAF, TP and ICV then my next look would be the igniton system and then go from there...

update to my previous post...
the garage tried replacing a few parts, but eventually put it all back and took it to Vauxhall's and got the latest firmware updates on the ECU... apparently my car was two revisions out of date....
This appears to have solved the issue as posted....
The only problem is that after driving the car for w few miles, the engine management light keeps coming on and the car will no longer idle ... just drops the revs until it stops.
going back to the garage on Monday, but seems like the ECU is the problem...

Re: Corsa 1.2 16v not idling properly - HELP!
The last issue was due to the MAF sensor not connected correctly
Since the ECU was updated to the latrest revision and the MAF sensor connected correctly... all is dandy

dno if u solved the problem but did u try cleaning the petrol injector as u might be clogged and causing it to let to much petrol through whilst idling and in low revs.

Clean the EGR Valve, and replace the Idle Control Valve, also check MAF, and ignition coil pack.
These are the main problems i always have.
Areas of problems to which the above does fix. "Hesitant Accelerations, ticks over or erratically around the 1000rpm, or even keeps reving loads. Choking sounds, or Diesel engine type sound lol."
