1999 Corsa Envoy

hi guys and gals
Have had car (corsa B, 1999) put on diagnostics and it came up with p1405 (8) p1405 (2). Engine is x10xe. I changed the egr valve and the car would fire but not idle, put the old one back on and it works again. The new one did turn EML off but car wouldn't idle. the old one works but with eml permanently on

I really dont know what to do now, also the new egr valve doesnt have a whole for the temp gauge sensor.

Any help is appreciated

I would say u got the wrong one mate.

unplug the egr n turn car on as it ent needed for car to run it just a eco goverment world saving rubbish item if it runs better u no u got the wrong one
