missing acceleration
1997 r reg 1.2 8v corsa when idling it seems to only firing on 3 cylinders it starts ok no problem but when setting off it is sluggish

im nt 2 sure when it comes 2 this kinda thing bit try replacing the maf (mass airflow meter). its a small and relatively cheap job bt they are prone 2 go on old corsas - i blew through 2 of them when i fitted an enclosed induction kit 2 mine

As above, I would also change the MAF sensor for a NEW BOSCH one. Don't get a copy .. please. lol. If there are any EM lights coming on it may well be worth checking them out. Also do a compression test and go from there.
