Corsa b x12xe Very High fuel consumption and other problems

Post by mo1965 »

Hi, I have an automatic w reg Corsa b 1.2 16v, x12xe. I get the p0130 O2 Sensor circuit Low Voltage Op com (not present) code. It mainly comes when doing over 40 mph rev 2000-3000. I put a Taiwanese O2 clone but soon afterwards the EML light came on and then disappeared so I put back the old Bosch 1. I don't want to spend £65 on a Bosch 1 and find out that it didn't fix the problem.
I am only getting about 17 mpg and I recon I should get at least 30 mpg. It also hesitates mainly at traffic lights when hot. I replaced the throttle body twice from breaker but it won't idle and stayed on 1600-2000 rpm so I went back to old 1. I cleaned the TB and hoses etc. also disconnected battery many times.

Are these issues related to each other? I don't want to spend more money and time needlessly.
Any help is appreciated

I would be surprised if it is NOT your MAF sensor.

I had same errors and replaced the lambda sensor and was fine for about 1 hour lol.
Does it feel like when you put your foot down it doesn't go anywhere or stops going faster?

It's defo your MAF sensor. Get a NEW one.

Its not def th maf, sounds more like an idle problem tbh
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

I changed the Idle adjuster twice (2nd hand) but still same. Op com has never shown MAF fault. only O2 (p0130)in situation described in 1st post. I have live data log if any1 can explain.
