Steering wheel puller?????????

Does anyone know where i can buy one?

Tried Halfords but no luck there.
I know Draper and Laser make them for Vauxhall but cannae find one anywhere.

steering wheel puller? im confused you just pull em off dont ya? ive heard of a hub puller for bearings??

bit of brute force :wink:
nice looking tool mate, if you were down my way id come round and have a go...... then admit defeat and say you need a tool :lol:
have you tried \'shocking\' it by hitting it with a hammer? it might free it up a bit. not as daft as it sounds and im not taking the piss..... (im an engineer)

Yep, tried that, tried the \'feet on the dash and pull like O_o method\' too but that didn\'t work.

we had this problem wiv vixs wheel in her 106 but we eventually got there by wiggling it and pulling.give it a try if it dont work go to motor world they can get em for ya. :thumbs:
north east region...the quietest region but the best...imho...

you had tht problem coz\' the alloy fuses wid the metal of the drum and sticks

I remember my old puller... it DESTROYED the horn ring... (lil ring of metal for the connection for the horn switch)

ended up going at the damn thing with a hacksaw & then a grinder to get it off :lol:

extreme! i like it :clap: cant beat getting angry and reaching for the grinder or oxyacetalyene torch :ohyeah:

Tried wiggling, pulling, badger with the hammer all at the same time but it\'s not shifting.

I did actually consider cutting the bas7ard off last night when it was p1ssing me off.

Right guys i managed to just pull the liitle bugger off with a bit of brute force.

Another question for you all, The spring that is already on, do i need to keep this on or not?

yup you need the keep the spring

and if you hit the centre shaft with a hammer

you have f**k your sttering coloum as its made to collapse in a crash
