Kangarooing?

Post by Harkus »

Past two days she's been kangarooing when i hit and anything over 2.5k revs...had a diagnostics last week all came back fine apart from my map sensor not being read, could this cause it?. Also I've got a VX inlet and its telling my ECU it's got to much air going through do needs a remap could this cause it to?.

It's had new plugs and the diagnostics showed my coil pack is working fine to.

Any help or advice please lads?.

I cant even edit it now

anyway the map sensor being dead will be giving the ecu the wrong air/fuel reading causing it to run lean which you really find at hi revs

Tbh with the amount of bother the cars giving id throw it in to vauxhall and let them run it through there dignostics, it costs a bomb but it will find everthing, and i think they still do if they fix the problem the dignostic is free

As far as I'm aware it was the map sensor That's not being read but mechanic seems to think its my manifold Even though its the standard one fitted...

And he claims my egr valve isn't there even though to sat behind my inlet on the right hand side....

Id walk away actuly just run away from him  do not give your car to him anymore, buy op com off amazon (£20) and read the codes your self opcom gives live data aswell so you can see what sensors are dead
