Could be anything tbh dont understand y it wont connect to dignostics, what brand machine does he have ?
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway :thumbs:

No idea pal a red one with blue buttons lol.... Software may not be up to date.

Have you checked the egr? Forgot to say last night
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway :thumbs:

No mate not yet but I've got a blanking plate for it just not put it on yet.

Check all the connections are tight and secure, follow the wire back a bit aswell to make sure its intact
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway :thumbs:

Ok pal will do, think ill do it tomorrow as its 7:30 and light is running out

Got no tools with me pal there all home so can't lol!.

Drove her earlier she cut out on me a few times at first had to keep the revs up, she was ok after 5 mins run like a dream, got back (12 miles) later and she started cutting out on me again.

Every time she started then she cut out on me had to top up the water after she decides to take a leak again... Started her revved her rite up to 6k ish twice them she idled fine...

It's weird man... Car's a pain in the balls lol

Im starting think icv more, but its not throwing a code so its a guess

You should buy opcom think its only 25 on amazon atm

You can view live data as you drive and see what sensor is acting up

I know it's not coming up on the codes but could I have maybe damaged the speed sensor in the gearbox when I bottomed out?.

Yeah it's just throwing the egr up nothing els... So don't know weather to replace or blank it

i was told by a mechanic once or twice that it EGR tends to flag up all the time even if its not the problem. like a miss reading.
plus that the X12XE engine cant plug a computer into it, well.. not one that hooks into a laptop or from ebay. has to be one of the proper mechanic ones.

Well I'm going to blank it off anyways, a new one is like £80 so blank the bitch off and be done with it.. Hoping that's going to sort to idle problem an running out
