Thanks matey, im going to have a look on wednesday (day off) and wire it up with a relay. just a couple of questions though,,,
1) The relay, do i buy it from a motor factors?
2) Is there a specific one i need to buy?
3) Is the 5amp fuse im using in my inline fuse, still ok to use?

not been on for afew weeks due to various reasons. anyways i got the proper kit for my lights from halfords and spent afew hours fitting it. Whilst i was doing that, i took the coolant bottle off to be cleaned and also because i wanted to flush the block and radiator.
ive got pics of the bottle below..


its all clean and looking nice with fresh coolant. no pics, of it as i forgot to take some before i fitted it back on.

Not much done to my car due to work and ongoing personal issues. The only update is, i had to replace the headlight bulbs due to one blowing.
So bought these.. The bulbs in the packet are the old bulbs.

The new ones have a blue tip and seam to be loads brighter with a hint of blue to the light that is cast. happy with them

Forgot to mention that afew days after fitting my cleaned coolant bottle, I decided I wanted to replace one of the pipes that go into the bottle at the top. Whilst removing this I managed to snap a tube off the bottle with the pipe attached. So bought a new bottle and new (standard) pipes. My car is running well at the moment, just due a service in January ready for mot time. Updates to come soon.

My corsa (Black betty) is for sale £500 ono. the reason,, ive just put a deposit down on a corsa d 1.2 petrol with afew mods. im gonna be sad to see my little corsa go but its done me proud and the next owner can carry on the work ive started. Just want to say thanx guys for all your comment and advice, ill still be reading your projects and commenting on them.
