lowering
Got a 1.2 8v and was wondering how low to go with lowering it. Was thinking about 30mm on 16" with 195 45 16 tyres. Was wondering if someone has the same set up or opinions. Cheers

Re: lowering
It will feel quite bumpy with 45 profile, i had 40 with no problems on 205 45 16 on so 30 should be fine as long as the et isnt to far off
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Re: lowering
I did a tiny bit but it was due to the offsset being to far off
Et is offset, the offset is how far the wheel/alloy is placed on the hub
Corsa offset is ET45 so check the back of th rim for your et

Re: lowering
I wouldn't go any bigger than 195 as the corsa arches are not that big...

Re: lowering
Do you need anything else to go with those? Or can you use them with stock shocks? Seems like a cheap and cheerful way to go lower... But will it still have the usual Corsa bounce?

Re: lowering
Thats what ive been checking into as well, id say if you use lower springs on standard shocks. The two are not mated together so it will cause problems and stress.
Id say if you buy lower springs, replace the shocks with uprated short shocks. or buy coilovers as the price difference at that stage isnt that much then with coilovers you can adjust them to the height as required when needed.
Am i right ? can someone confirm this ? as i want to buy suspension myself as well.
