hi, posted about my exhaust before, banging on rear axle when going over bumps, decided to fit an extra hanger to try and sort it, as dont want to twist it anymore then it is..
ive ordered an after-market hanger pretty much the same as this one
has anybody fitted one of these before, does anybody have any recommendations on the best way to fit and the best position to put it..
cheers

Re: fitting after-market exhaust hanger
You could bolt or weld it to the spare wheel well, if it would reach,
Poly exhaust hangers would be simple tho as theres alot of flex in stock exhaust rubbers

If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

hmm, its not arrived yet but dont think it will be big enough to mount from the spare wheel well, thinking about bolting it just slightly forward of the rear axle, ill prob make a decision when i get under there, cheers

Re: fitting after-market exhaust hanger
Fitted the bracket at the weekend, done the job brilliantly, fitted in between rear axle and the rear silencer and bolted it by drilling through to the boot..
