Why is it mounted like that? Did you cut into car much for the gearbox to fit? Looks mint

It's based off a sierra tunnel and custom built escort rear end. It's a tidy job. The engine is mated to an SBD custom bell housing and sierra type 9 box... It shouldn't work but it does,really well in fact. Only issue is lack of lock but ill look into that over the winter
