Simple answer yes,

What year, engine is the car

Do you know if its cable or electric
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Cable is a bit harder to do because cable clocks with a rev clock are rare now so the cable has to be adopted into electric clocks

force it,

Well easiest way to do it is get an electric type gearbox from a 1.2 16v but you still have to f**k up alot of electrics, its a dash out job and not worth it

same problem tbh  its because no one makes cable stuff anymore because it doesn't sell but you can get a transducer thing a ma bob that you feed the cable into and turns it to electric at the other side of, if you could be find one of them a rev pod would be simple installed

I managed to fit a set of clocks from a 97 plate 1.2 into another without any issues. There's a possibility that yours is electronic speedo as well

Mines is electric. Is it a straight swap for the clocks? Or do i need to run wires?

The old clocks are just standard with no rev clock. It is just the electrical plug behind the speedo so its not cable driven. I was told that it would be a straight swap with no problems. Its a p reg 1997 1.2 8v

8v are normally cable so if it didnt have a rev counter the cable wouldnt have been run to the cabin, if it was electric it would be plug and play
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway
