Glad to hear your getting straight to fixing it:) you going to diy the bonnet or just get replaced/ fixed at bodyshop
No just think the sudden stop cracked the plastic on it where it meets the chassis.
Diy bonnet till i can afford and find a better one.
Well update so far
Woke up and went to scrapyard with my dad, picked up a rad a new crash bar and coil pack
Picture midway through the rebuild
Finally got everything back together and took it for a test drive, got to my mates house -5 mins away and i hear hissing when i turn car off, i thought i hadn't tightened a pipe so let it cool while i was chatting then drove home
Got home and looked at new rad and found a crack at the top where the clip meets the tank , used some putty on it and that sorted that problem, ran car on idle for long enough to get temps up and no steaming
Just need to wait for it to cool to check coolant levels then i should be good
