CV Boot Cost...

Does £50 sound about right for a new CV boot to be supplied and fitted? That's how much i got charged. I originally went to get a new CV boot clip as the old one popped off somewhere, but the mechanic couldn't get the new clip to stay in place as the CV boot was too short! The boot kept slipping off!

Glad i got it sorted before my 270 mile trip to Southampton though as all the CV grease had spun out on the inside of the drivers side wheel :o.

50 sounds like a rip tbh boots are normally aeound 10 to 20
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway :thumbs:
