Tatty sills

I've cleaned, tidied, treated my sills as best I can, might go through an mot as is, the mechanic I use for mot wasn't that worried, says nothing we shouldn't be able to bodge if needed..

My question is, is there a quick easy way to make them less Tatty, it's mainly round the jacking points.. Purely cosmetic here I'm not asking for a way to fool the mot bloke, just looks poo when you can see the Tatty bits on the seam

New sills is the only real way of tidying them up, but you could always sand it back and spray it

The sills themselves are OK, few bits of rust but nothing that didn't clean up, after sanding down and spraying.. I'll have to try and get a pic of what I mean but underneath on the seam where you stick ya jack. They Tatty as half the time the prev owner didn't even bother sticking the jack in the correct place, looks all jagged and uneven on the seam

No idea tbh mate check local auto factors as they could be the cheapest, or they cone up on ebay now and again

I think i know what you mean, there sort of squised, i welded some plates on to my last corsa to make it look new, you could try that

Make sure you underseal them first though as when people dont use the jacking point they bust orignal underseal letting water in

ive re done the sills with tetroseal, after giving them a coating of some anti rust stuff

well the underneath bit not the side bit.. you know what i mean
