My Corsa from Argentina

Hi, guys. I am Agustín, from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm 19 years old and this is my first car. It feels great to have your own car, go whatever you want without any restriction.
Talking about the car, it's a 1997 Chevrolet Corsa Gl 1.6 MPFI with 126.000kms (78.000 milles).
I go to university, so I don't have a wage to afford maintaining the car, that is why my dad is helping me until I got a job.

Since I got it, I have been looking for someone that could make the holes for the fog light, but it may be too risky for the bumper. On the other hand, I have a desire for lowering the car, been saving money for like 3 months to make it. We'll see if it's possible for before the end of the year! And talking about the engine, I rather keep it stock; maybe in 2 or 3 years, with a nice job, give the (tiny white) beast some power

Are the parts cheap for you and it is quite easy to make holes for the spot lights in your bumper. Also did you ever have the gsi or Sri models over there

In comparison to other cars, it's a low-cost car and easy to maintain. Really, I don't know if the holes are so easy to make, if the hole is done badly I may miss a bumper and I don't want to risk it

To be honest, we have a horrible exchange rate for different currencies. For example, £1 = $ARS 9,60. So, $ARS 40.000 would be +- £4150, you see? In addittion, the inflation is ruining us, we have a monthly rise of prices of 2%, more of lees; so in a year we realise that prices had risen almost 30%. It's crazy, really.
We are still hoping for someone to drive better this country rather than the current president. We will see...

Exactly, Johnny, you see what I mean?
As a matter of fact, it is cheapier buying some things from EBay (free shipping to Argentina) than here. It makes no sense.

I get that to even here lol i buy around 80% of my parts from england as its cheaper to pay the exchange rate and ship over seas than to buy local

Tbh it sucks ya didn't get the gsi corsa over there u would of had fun with it lol i do quite like some of the corsas which have been modified over there they do look really sweet. The lucky side of it is that they made the pick up version where as over here we have to make the car into one
