12V GLS Electric Mirrors

Hi everyone...not had my Corsa long...taking a break from a winter on two wheels this year and enjoying this little car...just one question...what is the tiny button for on the electric mirrors control pad? Has a little yellow light next to it (which doesn't seem to work now) My guess was for heating the mirrors but I really don't know...

That my friend is the mirror heater switch for when they are frosted up and welcome to the forum

Forgot to add when ya press it to check if they work touch them after a few mins and they should be warm to feel

I only found that out recently that works but my mirror controls don't

When i first saw them i thought it was to switch on the electric mirrors until my bro had sed what it was and they are the same switch on all the vauxhalls

Thought it might be...not sure the heating actually works but the electric moving side of them does...could do with a new passenger side assembly in electric blue if anyone has a spare?

Like i say buddy switch it on then after a few minutes feel the mirrors and they should be warm to the touch

I'll post a pic tomorrow...it's not perfect but it's road legal and has plenty of gadgets for what it is

Hang on, I got a gls, u mean I been defrosting and scraping my wing mirror for f**k all.. I can just press the button lol

I used to have a lx escort years ago that had a front heated windscreen but every other one i saw never did

My car isn't a project of any sort...in all honesty we got it after our Fiesta failed it's MOT due to airbag issues so we basically swapped it...other half has a new car now and I kept the Corsa as my winter hack...of course that doesn't mean I'd turn down some alloys or a cherry bomb exhaust for it lol

PS I'm in Southampton...
