lowering springs
ok guys i wanna lower my car 35 at the front and 30 at the back, anyone recommend any springs and where to buy them from??

I can recommend Eibach -35mm jobs from Wallace performance. Meant to be the bsst set up you can get for road cars, if you get some nice dampers to suit.
If you mention Migweb then you\'ll get a slight discount, but they were still 118 delivered.

But if you measure 5mm there isnt much difference between the kits, what wheels do you have...

all i know is that they are 17s, and i cant lower my back as much as my front cos it sits really low anyway

thats on standard springs which when old tend to get a big saggy and lower
on 17s you should be fine with 40mm tbh
why spend more on less lowering when you will look back and think you want it lower?
i would go for the Pi springs if i was you, Eibachs are nearly twice the price!

so if i did get the 40mm springs and have the arches rolled, the back shouldn\'t catch?

well lets just say, my last polo had 16s and was lowered 85mm all round and with the arches rolled it didnt catch at all
so you will be fine im pretty sure

you could easily put a 3mm plat on the top and bottom of the spring mounts to give the extra 5mm you seak, some thick ruber would do the trick.

my boyfriends got some lowering springs for a mark 2 astra will they fit on my car? hes not sure if they are 40 or 35mm
