Hey there guys!
New user here with a problem I could use some help with, bear in mind my mechanical knowledge is not great, one of the reasons I bought a B.
Now, I was driving into work yesterday and realized I was out of screen wash, so when I got to work I tried to release the bonnet to top it up (I know how to do this at least), I pulled the catch in the drivers footwell and heard a quiet bang and the catch came free, I'm guessing the cable has come loose and I can't open my bonnet.
Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Re: Bonnet Release Catch
Welcome to the forum mate
First check is the cable out of the handle, some pop out after a while
If it is in the handle, the cable has prob snaped which unfortunatly means breaking grill to get a screwdriver in at the catch
If its out of the handle try pull it or use vise grips to pull it

If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Re: Bonnet Release Catch
My old handle snapped off. Instead of repairing it, it was a 2 man job opening the bonnet. 1 pulling the string and one bouncing the bonnet lol
