Help!

Post by Barraclough »

How do I remove the top part of the steering column? Took the bottom off and tried to take the top off but won't fit. Can't take the indicators off cos it's in the way and broke one of the indicator clips trying to force the top out

The plastic cowling you mean? Or you taking out the actual colum

The plastic is what i think your talking about, if so its a lift and twist that gets it out, it will pull up past the wheel without breaking in my experience aswell, if its the colum well its alot of work to say the least
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

The back part that goes under the speedo, push it in as far as you can get it then where the two screws go in push them in past the wheel and it will just push down then

force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway
