Electrical connector

Post by natrajc »

Found this connector tucked away behind the bumper on the left hand (passenger) side.. Was wondering if it was for the fogs or the TID.. Whichever one it is, where would I find the other one, then? Rooted around but couldn't find one..Image

Funny enough I have one of these leads taped up out the way on the n/s of the engine bay, mines taped up to the wiring going to the lights, all my light work so didn't bother finding out what it's for, got my interest now lol

Suppose we have to wait for super corsa nerd johnny to answer us mere mortals

Yup, Johnny seems to have answers to ANY corsa questions. Hats off to his encyclopedic knowledge. Has already saved me a bundle with answers that would normally have me shelling out at an authorised repair shop. Much appreciated, and helps me learn in the process too.. Lucky to have found this forum.

Ive never looked to find out tbh
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Aircon works just fine right now.. And the compressor is on the other end from where I found this connector. It was zip tied out of the way, btw..

Much appreciated! Also, I had the headlight switch out to check if I could replace a burnt out bulb, and noticed there was a connector all wired and ready for something right next to the headlamp switch. It was blacked out inside the cabin, though, a small square blabbing piece right next to the headlamp switch.

PS..

Couldn't "replace" the burnt out bulb.. It's soldered in. Will tackle that next weekend, then, along with the power window master switch bub. That one is a straight out replacement, but getting to it is a REAL pain in the wrong place!

Oops.. The entire point of that post was to say.. Maybe that connector I asked about is connected to this blanked out switch thingy?
