Coilovers or shortened shocks?

Post by Jackbleako »

Hi everyone,

So I am rather concerned about my suspension set-up atm and I need a few good answers etc before I can make up my mind..

ATM I have 60mm lowering springs (all round) with standard shocks.

DO I..

A.) Buy a coilover kit such as one of the below..

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Cors ... 2a358f352c

or..

B.) Replace my standard shocks with these shortened & uprated shocks as shown below?

Depends on your budget tbh I had 60 mil with shortened shocks and it was a really nice ride and stayed flat, but if you can spend the extra bit I'd go for the jom set as it lowers lower lol and coilovers will be a better investment if you go to sell on
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

I think I'll be taking them off when I sell anyway. Only keeping this Corsa B until I can find and afford a mint one!

I'm after better handling over lows but I do love to car sitting at 60 now it's just so bad for going over bumps haha

So I'm guessing I should go with the coilovers then? Hmm
