HI ,,I hope I can get some sort of help without my car being looked at
A few years back I had both front springs replaced due to older ones breaking.I noticed that the front wheel arches were higher after they were replaced but did not question it as I just thought new ones were stiff etc.
A few months ago I noticed the right wheel camber was out with the bottom leaning inwards quiet abit and since the left also abit but not as much as the right also this is constantly changing with the amount its out.
I had the car up on a ramp recently and the guy checked everything over and said all was ok but he did say the camber was out probably because I may have the wrong springs and if I got them replaced and with a wheel alignment everything should be ok
Another mechanic said the just wear and tear thats why the cambers out
I do know I need front wheels aligned
I don't want to get the springs replaced if im back to square one,any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: Corsa B front camber is out
If your not lowered the camber shouldn't be out unless your strut was put on wrong but tbh the mechanic would have had to try putting it on wrong
I'd get it laser aligned, this measures camber and if it's out the guy doing the laser alignment will sort it
Laser is dearer but it's so much better and far more precise

If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Cheers for the reply,,what would explain the appearance that the arch is alot higher than before ? and the mechanic saying he thought maybe the wrong springs were fitted and probably from a bigger engine size instead of 1.0 litre engine? How much would laser be approx? as I only use it as a school run car etc

Re: Corsa B front camber is out
I'd say it was lowered and then standard springs where fitted
Laser alignment costs 50 here but there's only one place that does it here so he can charge what ever he wants lol but just call around your local tyre places and ask do they do laser
