I spent £60 last mot on welding i see it has it earns u the money back on what it does for u during the year and dependant how much it costs to pass if it wud be cheaper to get another one which is a better example and use urs as a donor car

If you get welding done IMO you should underseal it after as if your committing to fixing it, underseal it and protect it for 10+ years for an extra 30-40 quid
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

My gsi is my everyday car so im guessing my welding bill and mot bill is gonna go through the roof
but on the plus side with being less than 100 on the road now i think i should pay to get it done and not break it like most
they are going to increase in value pretty soon

wow this is an old thread of mine it was an old mate an tbh he fluffed it up cause the next MOt was a fail on more rust needed 2 new rear quarters and found out that he used my rear of the car to cut fresh metal off this car is now bye bye i've got a new motor that's my pride now
