When my mate smashed his b up we quickly stuck some steelies on it amd when they questioned the spoiler and colour coding he said he thought that was standard because thats how he brought it and they didnt question that. You just have to be smart and dont sell your standard stuff have it ready to throw back on just incase

Yeah im keeping my steelies mainly for when im short of cash and i need tyres its bound to happen at some point haha, but i dunno about the badgeless grill im gonna put on after chopping the bumper

See thats when you need to keep the original if you get in a front ended wack the original on and maybe damage it a bit to match the rest so it looks like you never had another one on thats what im doing

Haha its a good idea but ive got the older grill built into the bumper, puts me off doin it haha, how long after a crash do they take the car for inspection?

When my mate did his the police turned up and offered to tow the car away for him but if they do that your unlikely to see the car untill the insurance company do but if you take it away yourself you'll have a few days to sort it

Think i'm about due an update!

What an eventful couple of weeks it's been-.-

Passed my driving test last week so i'm pretty stoked about that, got all insured ready to drive then i realised that MOT had run out...30 days before! I got it booked in at a local garage (i work with the owners lad) and it got it tested, failed on parking brake and CV boot. Repaired them this weekend and went through it's re-test today just fine so i'm finally on the road

I'm looking forward to starting the real mods and get some driving experience under my belt! I've decided against putting the 1.4 into mine from the Red Corsa that i bought for spares/breaking so if anyone wants it let me know:L However I think i am going to keep the wheels, i mocked them up this evening and thought they looked pretty good! Opinions?

Do like the wheels mate on ur little more door suit the colour so u keeping them that colour or changing them

Naa gonna' keep them silver i think! They just need a bit of a clean and a polish i reckon.
