New car.

Post by lupo14s »

hey all, i have a lupo 1.4 at the moment, awesome car, but its extremally rusty under and even some holes, and the engine seems so sluggish from when i first had it.
im coming to you corsa lovers because i want a new car but i dont want the usual 2006+ cars that all my mates have, i want something old and massive part/upgrade availability, so what could you tell me about a corsa b or c maybe even the corsa a (nova) that you love so much?

Hi and welcome buddy u have a cult following car atm but its nice u want to have a corsa. The novas are getting rare now but are very prone to rust underneath corsa b ain't ti be but they for me are the closest to the feel ov driving a nova i personally dis like the c every one has one these days and have now been done to death with everyone modding them some way or other and the engines are pants compared to the b
If it ain't green and black send it back :D

The Corsa is a brilliant little car cheap to run and mod

There's somethings you need to look for when buying though
-Rust obviously being an old car, but main point are sills, spring seats, the B pillar just below the glass and boot floor if you can find one that's being undersealed it'll be better
-Engine range is quite vast compared to most cars, they range from 1.0 to 1.7 standard but you can fit upto a 2.5 v6 in them and each engine has common problems which you can Google the engine as there to many engines to start listing, but because there common knowledge there all easy cheap fixs
- Interior wise it's the usual really bolster wear on seats seat belt mounting points(these rarely go bad, but just take a look incase)

If you have any particular questions ask away:)
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

I agree, not fond of the C or D. Got my first B cheap as my friend was selling and as soon as I got it knew I wouldn't go back. The possibilities are endless!

The little loop is a cool car with lots of beans, both my brothers had corsa b's and i always remember it was a fun drive when we went out but all my friends used to hate it and think its tacky, i just cant seem to find a corsa b i like the look of except for these Image Image
